With an incredible 32 years of service, Martha is a shining example of dedication and heart. Her journey through the district has taken her from Jefferson Park to Blenman and now to Booth-Fickett, where she continues to make a lasting impact every single day. Martha loves the wonderful camaraderie she shares with her students! She describes them as consistently respectful and kind, creating a positive environment that makes coming to work a joy. When it comes to her impressive longevity, Martha has some sage advice for her colleagues: stick with it! 

Beyond her commitment to her students, Martha is a gifted creator who shares a common thread of community service and artistry with our most dedicated staff. Outside of work, she uses her talents to create beautiful gift baskets for various events, including fundraising raffles for the Tucson Education Association (TEA) retirees. Her spirit of generosity and her decades of service are what make TUSD such a special place to work and grow!
